THREE RIGHTS MAKE A LEFT

This weekend I preached at Canyon Lake near New Braunfels, Texas. A day early, I drove to Floresville to visit my dad and I intended to spend the night in a recliner in his living room. But as soon as I settled in to try to sleep a wave of emotion took me.

We get suspicious emails all the time. A lot of them carry dire warnings about our needing to use a link in the e-mail to prevent our e-mail service from being shut down. I usually delete these as soon as they come in.

One of the hardest things about my last surgery was that call I got the night before from my stepmother. My 88-year-old father was in ICU with double pneumonia. When you’re 88 that’s the kind of thing you die from!

A Christian man once asked GOD why it was so easy to follow the devil and so hard to follow Him. GOD’S reply was, “SATAN HAS MANY WAYS, AND I HAVE ONLY ONE”. Our bodies (the flesh) is earthbound and will never enter Heaven as it is.
