HOPPIN’ AROUND

Americans celebrated Presidents Day Monday, and as I thought about its significance, I had a few ideas I felt were worth writing about. The Constitution provides what I think of as the underpinnings of American democracy—the glue that holds our system of government and way of life together.

Abraham lived several years in the land of the Philistines until Isaac was a teenager. GOD spoke to Abraham and gave him the most demanding test ever made. GOD told Abraham to take Isaac and sacrifice him for a burnt offering in a place where GOD would show him.
