City of Forney Welcomes New Fire Chief to Department

After nearly 23 years of service with the Abilene Fire Department, Derek Briggs is excited to return to North Texas to serve as the new fire chief for the City of Forney.

Hwy 80 expansion "sneak peek"

The Forney Messenger got a "sneak peek" at the plans for the upcoming expansion of Hwy 80 that will be unveiled and on display at the City Council meeting on Tuesday at 6:30pm.
