Hwy 80 expansion "sneak peek"

The Forney Messenger got a "sneak peek" at the plans for the upcoming expansion of Hwy 80 that will be unveiled and on display at the City Council meeting on Tuesday at 6:30pm.

    About the Candidate   My wife and I live in Forney.  We have three sons, a 17 year old who attends Forney High School, a 30 year old who works for Union Pacific Railroad and a 27 year old navy veteran who works for Homeland Security.  I grew up in Forney and graduated from Forney High School.

Council tables Wynne Jackson development

On Tuesday night, City Manager James Fisher led a discussion concerning the proposed Wynne Jackson development, which will be located on the Whaley Tract. The Whaley Tract includes approximately 300 acres and is located on FM 548, across from the Greyhawk subdivision.
