City of Forney, FFD awarded Class 1 ISO rating

FORNEY, TX—The City of Forney and Forney Fire Department are excited to announce that the department has been awarded a Class 1 rating by the Insurance Services Office (ISO), and organization that independently evaluates municipal fire protection efforts in communities throughout the United States.

FPD kicks off COPS training

From 15 to 20 people were present Monday night for the first Citizens On Patrol (COPS) introductory training session since FPD graduated its first Citizens Police Academy class in late May. The session was held in a conference room at the Forney Police Department from 6:00 p. m. to 9:00 p. m.
