Mackey indicted in theft of funds $100-200K from Crandall Volunteer Fire Department

CRANDALL, Texas — It’s been nearly four years since Denny Mackey was jailed for allegedly stealing over $100,000 from the Crandall Volunteer Fire Department (CVFD).

Monday a Kaufman County grand jury formally handed down an indictment for theft, greater than or equal to $100,000 and less than $200,000, a seconddegree felony.
