Donald Trump wasn’t my first choice for president. Or my second. In fact, the only reason I voted for him was because I simply refused to accept Elitist Hillary Clinton as my queen. Like all men, Mr. Trump is flawed, but I’m starting to like him.

There is a position at our Church that doesn’t appear on a budget or list of Church officials but he is important none the less. It is the Church “Candyman”. When I was a kid I really didn’t think about it much.

Some bible scholars have different theories about the beginning of time and GOD’S plan for mankind. This is my own theory about why the nation Israel was created, which is not written in the bible. Before the creation GOD created three mighty angels named Michael, Lucifer, and Gabriel.

I have often said that I wish I had the patience with my kids that I have with my grandkids. I love my kids but having grandkids is better than I could have imagined. The one thing I don’t like is having to share them during holidays.

Over the holidays I went to visit some dear friends who not only don’t have the TV on all the time, they don’t even OWN a TV. It’s so peaceful to be without the constant screeching of that idiot box. I can focus, come up with new ideas and refine existing ones.

When Israel was split into two nations, they elected a king and when he died, they would elect another king. One king would be evil and lead the nation away from GOD and into sin against Him. The king would lead the nation to build idols all over the land and worship them like they were real gods.

I made a statement before that Solomon had 300 wives and 700 concubines. Actually it was the other way around. He had 700 wives and 300 concubines. The bible says that Solomon loved many strange women and allowed them to turn his heart away from GOD and go after the gods of these women.

As we start a new year I have been thinking about the Washington Irving story about Rip Van Winkle who slept for 25 years and woke up in a new world. It got me thinking about what changes may occur in the next 25 years and contemplate innovations that have come in the last 25 years.

Like all old coots, I have deep concerns about the up-and-coming generation. I worry that, by spending the bulk of their days pushing buttons and watching “content” on a screen, they’ve become so disconnected from reality that they can’t function in the natural world.

When Lucifer (Satan) was created and made very beautiful, he was still not satisfied with his place and what he was created for. When he fell and the creation was done, he caused Adam and Eve to sin against GOD and fall from GOD’S grace.
