It has been said that GOD is building our mansions from the material we send up there to Him. (Ouch). I’m afraid my mansion will be pretty ragged. Jesus said that we should lay up our treasures in Heaven instead of on earth because our hearts will be where our treasures are.

Three Rights Make a Left

I have an admission to make. I haven’t been to the Spellman Museum yet since it moved to its new location in Forney. I had been several times when it was on the second floor of the Forney City Hall. I plan a visit in the near future.

Stranger Than Most

I was going to title this column Welcome to the Ice Age, but I know too many of my friends and family would stop reading right there. What I actually want to write about has nothing to do with the AGW theory/ hoax. My subject today is Hell. As in H-E-double toothpicks.

When Jesus’ ministry was finished, the law was fulfilled. He said that He did not come to abolish the law, but to fulfill it. The Jews ministry and the law is set aside until the Church, (the bride of Christ), is completed and taken out of the world.

John, (not his real name) was a grade ahead of me and lived about a mile away. His mom and dad were divorced but lived near one another. Both of them ran Jewelry stores. His dad ran the store downtown and his mom ran a jewelry store by his house.
