Jesus taught about making OATHS to GOD and not keeping them. Jesus warned against doing that. When a person makes a promise to GOD, He will expect them to keep it. Our lifetime is like a moment to GOD, and He will not forget the promises we make to Him. Jesus said it is better not to swear to GOD, or make any promise we cannot keep. He said if we would let our answers be yes or no we would be better off than if we try to take the bull by the horns and get things done. GOD will never ask us to do anything without giving us the power to do it.
