City Council approves Raising Cane’s with 6 to 1 vote

During its regular Dec. 05, 2017 meeting, the Forney City Council received its #1 ISO rating, and moved to reconsider Raising Canes development. Chief Townsend stated the City’s #1 ISO rating was a community effort, then introduced Mr. Bradley with I.S.O.

North Forney’s Memorable 2017 Football Season Comes to a Close

Allen (Saturday, December 2, 2017)—As the saying goes, all good things must come to an end. And, yes this very memorable 2017 football season for the North Forney Falcons did come to a close with a 45-35 loss to state ranked Mansfield Legacy, but it sure was fun while it lasted.

On Saturday morning November 25th Mayor Pro-Tem Mary Penn, Council-members Robbie Powers, Shaun Myers and Kevin Moon were joined by Parks Department employees Richard Curry, Dodie Witt VanSchuyver and Alexa Beasley in the ribbon cutting to open Forney on Ice.
