Forney ISD wins Star Awards Crystal Commendation for its Video Portfolio

FRISCO (February 22, 2018) – The Texas School Public Relations Association is pleased to announce that Forney ISD has been named the recipient of its prestigious Crystal Commendation in the Video Portfolio category of the association’s 2017 Star Awards.

Forney Chamber of Commerce names Citizen of the Year, Helping Hands awards

FORNEY, Texas — The Forney Chamber of Commerce named the 2017-18 Citizen of the Year and Helping Hands awards during their annual banquet on Thursday. The award candidates were nominated earlier this year and selected through a vote by the chamber members.

During its Feb. 20, 2018 meeting, the Forney City Council met to receive audit results, approve gated apartment complex, provide regulations for brewpubs and appoint interim City Manager.
