Forney Fire Department Holds Badge Pinning Ceremony

Saturday June 23rd, the Forney Fire Department held a Badge Pinning Ceremony at CLife Church, for new firefighters and those who have been promoted recently. In all there were 27 badges pinned with 8 being promotions.

A Season to Remember

The first day of practice was on January 26th. That was 135 days ago. 19+ weeks of practices, scrimmages and games. They didn’t get a Spring Break. 44 games to be exact. It’s the 44th game that hurts, but what we should all remember is the ride over the first 43 games. What a ride it was!

Jackrabbit Baseball Headed to State Tourney

It was a great weekend to be a Jackrabbit. The Lady Jackrabbit Softball Team won the State Championship. Just a couple of hours afterwards, the Jackrabbit Baseball Team punched their own ticket to the State Tourney and a chance to bring home a second championship in as many weeks.

Jackrabbit Baseball Advances to Regional Final

For the first time this postseason, the Jackrabbit Baseball team played in a possible elimination game. The boys prevailed, 7-0, and will move on to the Regional Finals against familiar foe Prosper High School. All games are scheduled for 7:30 starts and will be played at Dallas Baptist University.

Lady Jackrabbits Headed to State Finals in Austin!

All year long the hashtag has been #finishwhatwestarted.Well, they are just two games away from doing that very thing. The Lady Jackrabbits punched that all important ticket to Austin by sweeping the Hallsville Bobcats in the Regional Finals on Thursday and Friday nights.
