North Forney High School Student Earns Eagle Scout Distinction with Construction of a Weather Station for Brown Middle School

FORNEY, Texas - Austin Begin, a senior at North Forney High School, recently completed the design, development and construction of a weather station at Brown Middle School as part of his Eagle Scout project. The weather station was constructed on the south side of Brown Middle School and has remote control capabilities from the Advanced Science classroom located in the building. Dawn Sheets, the Science Department Chair at Brown Middle School, was Begin’s Advanced Science Teacher in middle school and worked with him on the project.
