Forney High School Art Teacher Named Grand Prize Winner of Art Contest

Forney High School Art Teacher Carol Adair was recently named the Grand Prize Winner of the 2018 Sargent Art Brighter World Teachers’ On-line Art Contest. Adair received $2,000 worth of school art supplies from Sargent Art for her accomplishment. Sargent Art is a supplier of art materials to the educational and retail markets. All of the company’s products are certified non-toxic for the safety of students. Adair stated that the winning artwork is an oil painting of her grandson when he was just a year old. The painting is 18 x 24 and her grandson is life size in the artwork.
