KAUFMAN COUNTY— Two people were killed and two children were injured in a crash in Kaufman Count, accoding to an announcement from WFAA-TV. Department of Public Safety troopers were called to the scene of the crash at about 9:30 p. m. Tuesday.

FORNEY, TX—On Februar y 19, 2017, Forney police responded to a “shots fired’ call in the area of Austin Street and Trinity Street. While in route to the call, officers were advised that a witness had followed the suspect to 300 Broad Street.

Floyd to be new principal at WMS

FORNEY, Texas—The Forney Independent School District (ISD) has announced the appointment of a new principal for Warren Middle School. On Wednesday, Feb. 22, the Forney ISD Board of Trustees held a special called meeting and approved Sondra Floyd as the new principal at Warren Middle School.
