Street, road improvement work on E. Main and S. Bois d’Arc kicked off Monday; project to take 10 months to a year

A project to create better parking and roadway conditions and improve drainage along E. Main St. and S. Bois d’Arc St. (FM 740) began Monday after nearly a year of planning.
The project, officially known as Forney Downtown Enhancements, is expected to take from 10 months to a year to complete.
