FORNEY (April 7, 2017)—On Senior Night, the North Forney Lady Falcon softball team played one of their best games of the season as they routed Royse City by a count of 15-1. Note: This game was called after the top of the 5th inning due to the UIL run rule.

FORNEY—In a key District 15-5A game Apr. 11, the North Forney Falcon baseball team defeated Lovejoy by a count of 2-1. With the win, North Forney improves to 8-13-1 overall and 5-4 in District 15-5A play while Lovejoy falls to 10-15 and 4-5 respectively.

Jackrabbit baseball team rallies again to defeat Lovejoy, 6-4

LUCAS—On Friday, March 31, the Forney Jackrabbit baseball team rallied again to defeat Lovejoy— this time by a score of 6-4. With the victory, Forney improves to 16-4 overall and 6-0 in District 15-5A play while Lovejoy falls to 9-13 and 3-3 respectively.

MESQUITE—On Friday, March 31, the Mesquite Poteet Lady Pirate softball team defeated the Forney Lady Rabbits by a count of 5-1. With the win, Poteet improves to 17-6 overall and 5-3 in District 15-5A play while Forney falls to 22-2 and 6-2 respectively.

MINEOLA (Friday, March 24, 2017)—On a very rainy and stormy night, the Forney Lady Rabbit soccer team defeated state-ranked Hallsville by a count of 2-1 to win the bi-district playoff title. Note: Before this game started, there was about a 1.5 hour rain and storm delay.
