Lady Rabbits win bi-district soccer playoff series title

MINEOLA (Friday, March 24, 2017)—On a very rainy and stormy night, the Forney Lady Rabbit soccer team defeated state-ranked Hallsville by a count of 2-1 to win the bi-district playoff title. Note: Before this game started, there was about a 1.5 hour rain and storm delay. So, it was a wild but successful night for sure.

With the victory, Forney, the 4th-place team out of the very tough District 15-5A, improves to 15-8-1 on the season while Hallsville, the District 16-5A champion, sees it season end at 15-3- 2. Coming into this game, Hallsville was ranked 20th in the state by the Texas Girls Coaches Association.
