Texas A&M-Commerce Men and Women take basketball victories on “Education Day” at the University—Dec. 7

The Texas A&M-Commerce Women’s Basketball Team carved out a 64—57 overtime victory over Eastern New Mexico on “Education Day” at the Field House in front of more than 2,000 local CISD students plus University students and local fans.

Jackrabbit Boys Basketball Team Posts 3-2 Record in Midlothian Heritage Tournament

Mesquite Horn Holds off North Forney 64-57

Forney (Tuesday, November 28, 2017)—In a very competitive game, the Mesquite Horn jaguar boys’ basketball team defeated North Forney by a count of 64-57. With the victory, Mesquite Horn, a 6A playoff team last season, improves to 4-2 overall on the season while North Forney falls to 0-4.

Lady Rabbit Basketball Team Wins Consolation Championship at Wills Point Tournament

On November 30-December 2, the Forney Lady Rabbit varsity basketball team won the Consolation Championship at the Wills Point Tournament. Overall the team went 3-1 in the tournament. The results of the games that the team played in the tournament are as follows.

On November 14, the Forney Jackrabbit boys’ basketball team defeated Tyler Le in over time by a count of60-57. The Rabbits were led offensively in this game by Sam Phillips (21 points), Aaron Rideaux (12 points), and Corby Filice (10 points).

Falcons Sail Past Pine Tree Pirates 60-21

Athens (Friday, November 17th, 2017) -- This magical 2017 season for the North Forney football team will get to continue after a dominating 60-21 victory over the Longview Pine Tree Pirates in the Bi District Playoff Round. It can be said that the Falcons sailed past the Pirates in this game.
