Falcons Win FCA Unity Bowl for First Time

Forney (Friday, November 10, 2017)—The North Forney Falcon football team won the FCA Unity Bowl for the first time thanks to a convincing 49-19 victory over the Forney Jackrabbits. Note: This was the 6th annual edition of the FCA Unity Bowl.

Wylie East Wins Shootout over Forney High School 50-43

Wylie—On Friday, November 3, the Wylie East Raiders won an offensive shootout of game over the Forney Jackrabbits by a count of 50-43. With the victory, Wylie East improves to 2-7 overall and 1-5 in District 15-5A play while Forney falls to 2-7 and 1-5 respectively.

Lovejoy Wins Key District 15-5A Game over North Forney 43-41

Lucas—On Friday, October 27, the Lovejoy Leopard football game won a key District 15-5A game over North Forney by a count of 43-41. With the victory, Lovejoy improved to 3-5 overall and 3-2 in District 15-5A play while North Forney falls to 6-2 and 3-2 respectively.

Highland Park Defeats Forney High School 35-13

Dallas—On Friday, October 27, the defending state champion Highland Park Scot football team did what they had to do vs. Forney High School to secure a 35-13 victory.

Lovejoy Rolls Past Forney High School 63-15

Lucas—On Friday, October 13, the Forney Jackrabbit football team had a nightmare of a game when Lovejoy blew them out by a count of 63-15. With the victory, Lovejoy improves to 1-5 overall on the season and 1-2 in District 15-5A play while Forney falls to 2-4 and 1-2 respectively.

Lady Rabbits Defeat Lady Falcons in Straight Sets Again

By MICHAEL L. MORRILL Forney (Tuesday, October 10, 2017)- For the 2nd time this season, the Forney Lady Rabbit volleyball team has defeated the North Forney Lady Falcons in straight sets. The final scores this time were 25-16, 25-19, and 25-16.

NFHS swimmers set new school record

By Jason Thompson, Swim Coach Record meet for Falcon swimming. At Friday’s meet Hope Carter set a school record in the women’s 200 free with a time of 2:38.34 breaking a record that has been held since 2012. David Miranda broke the 100 free record that was set last year by team mate Rusty Clark.
