Volleyball Wraps Up District Championship!

North Forney and Forney volleyball teams are wrapping up an exciting run in 13-5A with a District Championship and Runner- Up finish. Game after game we have seen exciting, wellexecuted competition from the girls on both teams, and each time they met each other, the rivalry was fierce and fun!

Fly Fishing Classes Coming Up at the Texas Freshwater Fisheries Center

ATHENS – Master flyfisher Bob Cappallo of Corsicana will teach fly-fishing for beginners 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Jan. 19 and Feb. 2 at the Texas Freshwater Fisheries Center (TFFC) in Athens. The classes are open to adults and youths accompanied with an adult. No fly-fishing experience is required.

TAMU-Commerce Lions and Tarleton Texans were tied for the top of the 2018 Lone Star Conference Football standings, both undefeated in Conference play. The Lions were 5—1 overall and ranked 7th in the AFCA National Poll, and the Texans were 5—0 and ranked 16th.

WMS Cross Country Results

The Warren Warriors competed in the Junior High Metro League Cross Country meet in Kaufman, on Saturday, October 13, 2018, at Kaufman High School. This meet was originally schedule to be at the Kaufman Sports Complex but due to the weather was moved to Kaufman High School.

The Forney Freshmen football teams played Royse City at home on Thursday night, September 27th. Black Team The Freshmen Black team was able to start the scoring in the first half with a strong running game. After the half, the Jackrabbit offense scored again to make it 12-0.
