Mesquite Seeks Community Input on its Solid Waste Services

The City of Mesquite is developing a 20-year master plan for the solid waste services it provides to residential and commercial customers and is asking for public input through an online survey at www.cityofmesquite.com/SolidWastePlan through Dec. 31.

Forney Girl Scout Troop 3515 Help Feed the Homeless

Local Forney Girl Scout Troop 3515, grades 1 through 3, decided to use some of their cookie proceeds from last cookie season to feed the homeless. They made chicken salad sandwiches and packed them with chips, snacks, and a note of encouragement.
