On Saturday, September 26, Forney ISD swim team competed in their first meet of the season against Mesquite and Sunnyvale ISD swim teams at the Town East pool in Mesquite. Forney High School and North Forney High School swimmers were victorious over Mesquite and Sunnyvale.

Pirate Stadium was buzzing as the band was warming up and fans were entering the stadium for the first time this season. Crandall’s home opener would be a tough matchup against a good Longview Pine Tree team. Both teams entered the night’s game 1-0 on the season.
