On December 28-29 the Forney Jackrabbit boys’ basketball team won the Kaufman Holiday Tournament for the 4th straight season.

New Year’s Day is rife with tradition.

On Friday, December 22, all four Forney ISD basketball teams played in some important District 15-5A games. The results of these District 15-5A games are as follows.

Boys Games

“Old” Forney graduates called their college East Texas State Teachers College, while “somewhat old” ones called it East Texas State University.

Forney (Tuesday, December 12, 2017) -- In the District 15-5A opener for both teams, the state ranked Wylie East Lady Raiders defeated the North Forney Lady Falcons by a count of 35-15.

The Texas A&M-Commerce Women’s Basketball Team carved out a 64—57 overtime victory over Eastern New Mexico on “Education Day” at the Field House in front of more than 2,000 local CISD students

Forney—On December 7-9, the Forney Jackrabbit and the North Forney Falcon boys’ basketball teams hosted and participated in the 7th annual Forney ISD Boys Basketball Winter Classic Tournament.

On November 30-December 2nd, the Forney Jackrabbit boys’ basketball team participated in a tournament hosted by Midlothian Heritage High School.

Forney (Tuesday, November 28, 2017)—In a very competitive game, the Mesquite Horn jaguar boys’ basketball team defeated North Forney by a count of 64-57.

On November 30-December 2, the Forney Lady Rabbit varsity basketball team won the Consolation Championship at the Wills Point Tournament. Overall the team went 3-1 in the tournament.

On November 14, the Forney Jackrabbit boys’ basketball team defeated Tyler Le in over time by a count of60-57.

Forney—On November 16-18, the Forney Lady Rabbit basketball team hosted and participated in the 2nd annual Forney Lady Rabbit Invitational Tournament.
