On Monday, October 18, local bands gathered to participated in the UIL Region 3 Marching Contest. Originally scheduled for Wednesday the 13th but rescheduled due to weather concerns, the event was held at Mesquite ISD’s Memorial Stadium.

The CHS Bass Fishing team participated in the Lake Fork Tournament on October 2, with over 200 boats competing. The team had a great weekend with 3 individual teams placing in the top 25 teams. The team also took 1st place as a team with a combined weight of 22.84lbs!
