Jakie Allen Sworn in as Kaufman County Judge

On Sunday, January 1, 2023, Kaufman County Commissioners’ Court rang in the new year with a special meeting to swear in local elected officials. County Judge Hal Richards led the event, which was held in the Ceremonial Courtroom of the county’s new Justice Center in Kaufman.
