U.S. Dermatology Partners Announces the Opening of Forney, Texas Office

U.S. Dermatology Partners, one of the leading dermatology groups in the country, is pleased to announce the opening of its newest office location in Forney, Texas. The new office is part of the organization’s Outreach Program serving rural communities and will offer convenient access to dermatology and skin cancer treatments to patients in the Kaufman County area. The new Forney office will provide treatment for conditions such as acne, psoriasis, eczema, and skin cancer for patients ranging in age from childhood to seniors. At this office, Certified Physician Assistant, Kelsey Bodell, will be the primary practitioner at the Forney office with oversight from Board-Certified Dermatologist, Dr. Brad Graham.

Will Grooms Inducted Into The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi

Will Grooms of Forney, Texas, was recently initiated into The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, the nation’s oldest and most selective all-discipline collegiate honor society. Grooms was initiated at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. Grooms is among approximately 25,000 students, faculty, professional staff and alumni to be initiated into Phi Kappa Phi each year. Membership is by invitation only and requires nomination and approval by a chapter. Only the top 10 percent of seniors and 7.5 percent of juniors are eligible for membership. Graduate students in the top 10 percent of the number of candidates for graduate degrees may also qualify, as do faculty, professional staff and alumni who have achieved scholarly distinction.

Governor Abbott Appoints Kaufman County DA to Special Crime Victims’ Institute Advisory Board

Governor Greg Abbott has appointed Kaufman County Criminal District Attorney Erleigh Norville Wiley to serve a second term on the Texas Crime Victims’ Institute Advisory Council. This advisory council is charged with conducting an in-depth analysis of the impact of crime on victims, close relatives of deceased victims, guardians of victims, and society.
