The City of Forney is proud to announce a community event to celebrate Juneteenth, the oldest nationally celebrated commemoration of the ending of slavery in the United States.

Latham Bakery Hosts Cookies for CASA

Latham Bakery sold cookies for CASA throughout the month of April and raised over $1200 for Lone Star CASA with their cookie sales. Latham Bakery is owned by Malinda Latham, and her business has supported CASA each year to bring awareness to the kids CASA serves.

The Layden Senior Citizens Center of Forney is located at 101 Main Street in City Hall, open weekdays from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. You may enter at the front or through Handicap accessible doors, located at the back of City Hall. Reserved parking for seniors is available 9:00-2:00.
