When confronting a problem. I’ve always been told to gain perspective by thinking about how important this issue will be in five years. It’s a useful exercise. But going into the future is mere speculation. You don’t/can’t know where you will be in five years.

Latham Bakery Hosts Cookies for CASA

Latham Bakery sold cookies for CASA throughout the month of April and raised over $1200 for Lone Star CASA with their cookie sales. Latham Bakery is owned by Malinda Latham, and her business has supported CASA each year to bring awareness to the kids CASA serves.

Labor Force and Number Employed Also Reach Record Highs

Texas achieved 26 consecutive months of growth in total nonfarm employment in April 2023, with the state again eclipsing records for the largest civilian labor force and greatest number of people employed in state history.
