Forney City Council Appoints Interim City Manager

During the April 14, 2021 special meeting, Forney City Council approved an agreement for Interim City Manager Services with Strategic Government Resources to appoint Charles Daniels as the City’s interim City Manager. Charles Daniels has previously served as Forney’s interim City Manager in 2016.

It was recently 1st Monday at Canton Back to Normal!

Bois d’Arc Lake, the first major reservoir in Texas in nearly 30 years, is now filling. The North Texas Municipal Water District (NTMWD) began impounding, or capturing, water on the 16,641-acre lake last week.
