It’s that time of year. Out with the old, in with the new. It would be an understatement to say that I welcome the new. It would more of an understatement that I still mourn the old. But I’m getting there. It’s been a year of hardship for me as well as a year of healing. Mostly healing.

Forney ISD Superintendent Dr. Justin Terry has been selected as a 2021 Superintendent to Watch by the National School Public Relations Association (NSPRA). Dr. Terry joins just 18 other superintendents nationwide and only three in Texas who were selected for the honor.

Forney ISD AFJROTC Cadet Receives Flight Academy Scholarship

Cadet Blane Duplissey, a junior in the Forney ISD Air Force Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (AFJROTC) program, is one of 200 Air Force Junior ROTC cadets worldwide to receive a Flight Academy scholarship from Headquarters Air Force Junior ROTC.
