Oncor to Begin Construction on Forney Switch Station Near Trinity Street

Oncor Electric Delivery is scheduled to commence construction on the Forney switch station project on or about May 27. The project site is located at the west end of Trinity Street.

Residents along Trinity Street and FM 740, particularly those south of downtown Forney, may experience an increase in truck traffic during the construction period. The project is expected to take approximately two years to complete.

Construction activities will adhere to the City’s regulations, which permit work from 7:00 a.m. until dusk, Monday through Friday, and from 8:00 a.m. until dusk on Saturdays. No construction is allowed on Sundays or holidays.
