It didn’t take long for the senior residents of Pegasus Landing of Forney to agree—life is definitely better with flowers. On a sunny spring afternoon, they gathered for a flowerarranging event that filled their community with color. With fresh blooms like tulips, daisies, and lilies, each resident worked side by side, crafting their own unique floral displays.

What began as a simple activity quickly turned into an opportunity for connection, conversation, and a sense of accomplishment. “It’s always rewarding to see our residents get involved in activities that let them express themselves,” said Karla Orduna, Executive Director of Pegasus Landing of Forney. “This event was great for them to work with something beautiful and feel a sense of accomplishment. Watching the room come to life with flowers and smiles made it all worth it.”

Beyond the flowers, the event was a reminder of the community’s ongoing effort to offer opportunities for social engagement and creative expression. Pegasus Landing of Forney believes in making every day meaningful by providing activities that inspire and encourage residents to connect with each other.
