Saturday, April 12th residents at Pegasus Landing of Forney enjoyed a visit from volunteers with the Community Life Church youth group (c|Life). The teens spent the afternoon playing games and interacting with the residents, bringing a refreshing sense of community to the space.

The day began with a few rounds of cards as residents and volunteers sat around tables, engaging in friendly competition and conversation, with everyone taking part in the game and getting to know each other. The mood shifted as the group moved to Noodle Ball, a simple but enjoyable game where balloons were kept in the air using pool noodles. The residents had fun trying to keep the balloons from touching the floor while sharing laughs with their new friends.

“We really appreciate the c|Life youth group for joining us,” said Karla Orduna, Executive Director of Pegasus Landing of Forney. “These intergenerational activities are a great way for our residents and the younger generation to bond over a few games.”

By the time the last balloon touched down, residents were already asking when round two would be.
