LADY RABBITS SOCCER

The Forney Lady Rabbits are heading to the State Semifinals after a commanding win in the Regional Final, earning their place as one of the final four teams in the UIL Texas High School 6A Division 2 playoffs. Their key word going into the match was “focus” — and they certainly delivered.

In the third minute, freshman midfielder Brooklynn Sosa set the tone with a free kick from 25 yards out on the right side. Devyn Gee then doubled the lead with a precise one-touch finish off an excellent assist from Delilah Rico in the 26th minute.
