Each year, Wellderly Week takes place from March 17 to 22. The annual observation encourages older adults to focus on their physical, mental, and emotional well-being. But for the seniors at Pegasus Landing of Forney – exercise is an everyday occurrence!
Residents show that staying active in your golden years can be as energizing as a morning coffee — with daily walks, Noodle Ball, and expert-led fitness sessions. As this year’s event approached, the community is ramped up its year-round wellness programs, keeping residents active, connected, and ready to take it to the next level.
In addition to the morning Walking Club, which marches through the hallways each day at 9 a.m., and independent exercise classes after – H2 Health instructs seniors in safe and effective movements several times a month. The partnering company specializes in outpatient therapeutic services. Whether residents are fitness pros or new to the game, there’s something for everyone.
“While Wellderly Week is a big part of our wellness focus, it’s really a celebration of everything we do throughout the year,” said Karla Orduna, Executive Director of Pegasus Landing of Forney. “Our goal is to give residents the tools and resources to stay active and healthy long after the week ends. We’re already looking forward to what’s in store for this year’s celebration and can’t wait to bring everyone together for a fun and rewarding week.”
As the community wraps up Wellderly Week 2025, Pegasus Landing is ready to continue offering programs that help residents stay healthy, active, and independent.
