Pegasus Landing of Forney, an assisted living and memory care community, marked National Thank A Mailman Day this month by honoring the hard work of local postal service workers. Residents took part in creating heartfelt thank you cards for the mail carriers who serve the community year-round.
Throughout the day, seniors shared personal stories about their long-standing connections with the mail system, reminiscing about the importance of receiving letters and packages over the years. They look forward to continuing these traditions in the future.
“Our residents value the relationships they have with their mail carriers, and we wanted to take a moment to show our appreciation,” said Karla Orduna, Executive Director at Pegasus Landing of Forney. “It’s a small but meaningful way to say thank you for their dedication and hard work.”
