Dylan Traylor, an 11thgrade Horn player from Forney High School performed with the Texas All-State 6A Concert Band at the TMEA Convention in San Antonio from February 12-15, 2025, at the Henry B. González Convention Center!
Under the direction of Verena Mösenbichler-Bryant from Duke University Wind Ensemble, Dylan had the incredible opportunity to work firsthand with composer Steven Bryant.
This prestigious honor was earned through a highly competitive audition process at the District, Region, and Area levels, ultimately placing Dylan among the top 2.6% of musicians in Texas. With over 70,000 students auditioning statewide, being selected as an All-State musician is the highest achievement a Texas music student can attain.
This marks a historic moment for our school—Dylan is the first-ever FHS 6A musician to achieve this honor!
