Trinity Valley Community College (TVCC) is excited to announce, “Wellness in the Office and Beyond,” aimed at improving wellness for employees and community members.
Offered by TVCC’s Adult and Continuing Education (TVCC ACE) program, this class is designed to reduce mental, emotional, and physical stressors that impact health, particularly in workplace environments.
The course, scheduled for Tuesday, March 4, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Ron Baugh Technology Center on TVCC’s Athens campus, will provide practical techniques and strategies for managing stress and promoting wellbeing. Registration is available for just $10, offering accessible education for anyone looking to foster a healthier lifestyle.
The class will be led by two experienced instructors who are dedicated to wellness: Cheri Goble and Toni Oliver.
Cheri Goble, a seasoned practitioner with doTERRA since 2013, will bring her expertise in essential oils and aromatherapy to the class. Cheri’s journey into natural wellness began with her own health battles, including her experience with cancer and recovery from a hysterectomy, where essential oils provided her with comfort and healing. Cheri, who holds an Associate of Science degree, has spent three years at TVCC, where she actively incorporates essential oils to uplift the office environment and reduce stress. She is passionate about educating others on the benefits of natural wellness solutions and sharing her knowledge to inspire healthier choices.
Toni Oliver, a Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT), Massage Therapist Instructor (MTI), and Continuing Education (CE) Provider, brings extensive experience in therapeutic massage and wellness education. With a career spanning since 2008, Toni has honed her skills across various techniques, including medical massage, sports injury therapy, reflexology, and more. She has also worked with the Dallas Stars, specializing in sports massage and injury care. Her instructional background includes positions at institutions like Parker University, Hands-On Therapy, Everybody Massage Academy. Toni currently works for TVCC, balancing her professional career with her role as a mother to three boys. Her dedication to wellness shines through her teaching, and she is passionate about helping others achieve holistic health.
