The Wesley Pruitt Band is set to return to the Henderson County Performing Arts Center (HCPAC) for the third annual fundraiser “A Night with Wesley
Pruitt” benefiting the Youth Excellence on Stage (YES) Program. The event will take place on Saturday, March 1, 2025, at 7:00 p.m. on the HCPAC Main Stage.
The YES Program provides young performers with opportunities to develop acting, singing, and stagecraft skills in a professional theater setting. Wesley Pruitt Jr., Bassist Calvin Sheffield, and Drummer Michael Mims bring not only exceptional musical talent but also a deep commitment to mentoring the next generation of performers. “Wesley Pruitt and his band don’t just p e r f o r m ; they inspire,” said HCPAC Board Member Pat Jousan Williams. “This event is more than just a concert—it’s a celebration of the arts and an investment in the future of young performers.” Past fundraisers have not only delivered phenomenal live music but also intimate, engaging conversations with the band, making for a truly unique concert experience.
“Supporting young people as they explore and fall in love with the fine arts is something Wesley is incredibly passionate about,” Williams shared. “The YES Program provides kids with life-changing opportunities, and we’re honored to have the Wesley Pruitt Band be a part of that mission.”
