Trinity Valley Community College Continuing Education is excited to offer free Medicare Educational workshops in the spring of 2025.
The Medicare 101 Workshop is designed to educate Medicare-eligible seniors on all aspects of the Medicare system, including Part A, Part B, Part D, Social Security, Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplement, IRMAA for Part B, IRMAA for Part D, late enrollment penalties, and ancillary coverage. This educational workshop will be available on the Athens, Palestine, Terrell, and Kaufman campuses.
The classes will be offered on:
•Tuesday, Jan. 28 on the Athens Campus from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.
•Tuesday, Feb. 25 on the Palestine Campus from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.
•Tuesday, March 25 on the Terrell Campus from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.
•Tuesday, April 29 on the Kaufman Campus from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.
President of The Seniors Group of Texas Terry Collinsworth and Vice President of Sales and Development for The Seniors Group Barry Collinsworth will be teaming up as instructors for the Medicare 101 Workshop.
“Join us for a Medicare 101 educational workshop in your neighborhood,” Director of Continuing Education Christie Hicks shared. “The more you know, the better prepared you are to evaluate benefits and costs and choose the plan that’s right for you.”
