On Thursday, November 14th, the City of Forney and StreetLevel Investments celebrated the groundbreaking of The Village at Gateway. This 143-acre development, located near North Gateway Boulevard and U.S. Highway 80, will be a regional hub for retail, services, and dining, catering to both Forney residents and beyond. This development will feature significant retailers, including Target, HEB, and Home Depot. In addition to these major anchors, the Village at Gateway will include convenience retail, fast casual, sit-down restaurants, and more.
“The Village at Gateway will be more than a shopping center; it will be a gathering place, a destination, and a source of pride for Forney. This project represents the exciting, bright future we have ahead. And I speak on behalf of every city council member, past and present when I say how proud we are to deliver this for you,” stated Mayor Jason Roberson.
