Kirsten Dell Moore was the most loving, outgoing person you’d ever meet. She had the greatest smile and laugh. She laughed a lot.

Born in Columbus, Georgia, she grew up with her mother, Susan Vig Moore, and her brothers, Jess and Randy. Susan died when Kirsten was 5 and the family subsequently moved to Forney, TX to live with their father, Jesse Ennis Moore and his new wife, Gail Moore. Kirsten grew up in Forney where horses and dogs gave her endless hours of joy. The family moved to ranches in Gunter and then to Aubrey. Over the years she enjoyed watching her younger siblings, Kelly and Michael, play sports — especially baseball, which became a lifelong interest of hers. When coming to Forney to visit her older brother, Jess, Kirsten would ride her bike to the games played nearby.

RandyBaumannbecamea great friend and they moved in with Candy Mathers in Corinth, Texas, where Kirsten worked at Whataburger and was named Employee of the Month this past April. Kirsten loved her coworkers and customers, many of whom became friends. When visiting Forney over the last 30 years, she’d often have lunch with the gang at the nearby gas stations.

Kirsten made friends wherever she went.

She died peacefully in her sleep on October 7, in Corinth, TX. She is survived by her step-mother, Gail Moore, and her half-sister, Kelly Rey, and half-brother, Michael Moore.

Her celebration of life will be held at 2 pm on Sunday, Oct. 20, at 512 S. Center Street, in Forney, TX.
