The E! Terrell Entertainment Series is proud to present Good Shot Judy, one of the top swing bands currently touring the USA. In its second show for the 2024-2025 concert season, E! Terrell features a high-energy performance entitled “The Century of Swing.” Showtime is set for 7:30 pm at the Jamie Foxx Performing Arts Center on Thursday evening, October 17, 2024.
Grounded in the swing band cadence of the Big Band Era, Good Shot Judy brings authenticy in its renditions of the music made famous by great bands of an earlier age by offering a performance that has one foot in the past and one of in the here and now.
Featuring smooth standards like “Beyond The Sea,” “You Make Me Feel So Young,” “Fly Me To The Moon,” “Feeling Good” and other familiar favorites, this highly-skilled band of professional musicians will have audiences tappin’ and clappin’ along with every song.
Replicating the dynamic dance band style of Benny Goodman, Artie Shaw, The Dorsey Brothers, and other legendary bandleaders, Good Shot Judy showcases the music of those who transformed the landscape of American popular music starting in the 1930s and 40s. This is where the term, “dancing in the aisles” originated.
In its essence, Good Shot Judy’s swagger and passion for tight harmonies and rhythmic precision make this concert an enjoyable and entertaining must-see show for the entire family.
