Forney ISD and the Forney Education Foundation announce the grand opening of “Assembly Required,” a state-of-the-art makerspace designed to inspire creativity and innovation. Join us on Monday, September 30, from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM at The OC in Forney, located on the 2nd floor of the east side of the building.

Attendees will have the opportunity to experience the makerspace in action with a variety of free and engaging activities, including:

•Pumpkin Rock Painting

•Create Your Own TShirt •Create Your Own Candy Bag

•3D Printing Demonstrations “Assembly Required” will be equipped with a wide range of cutting-edge tools and technology, including:

•3D Printers for creating intricate designs and prototypes •Laser Cutters for precision cutting and engraving

•Vinyl Cutters for custom decals and stickers

•Heat Presses for t-shirt and fabric imprinting

•Sewing Machines for textile projects

•Electronics Workstations for building and testing •And more! This versatile space is available for rent, perfect for hosting classes, meetings, and bringing any creative vision to life. This makerspace is proudly funded by the Forney Education Foundation, dedicated to supporting educational initiatives within Forney ISD.
