Celebrate Labor Day Weekend with friends or family at the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden. Presented by Primrose Schools in Dallas – Fort Worth, Labor Day Family Fun Weekend is chock full of activities the whole family will enjoy. Spend the holiday weekend immersed in nature. Bring your family and friends to “the 66-acre botanical wonderland” that is the Dallas Arboretum, according to The Dallas Morning News.

What to Expect:

Beat the heat with extended summer hours as the garden opens at 8 a.m. through Sept. 20.

A special Window to the Wild experience on Sunday from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. showcasing a variety of birds at the Martin Rutchik Concert Stage and Lawn.

Family favorite Country Critters Petting Zoo returns to the Pecan Grove from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., providing children the opportunity for close-up animal encounters all weekend.

Daily piano performances in Jeanne’s Pavilion from 12 to 2 p.m. amplify the serene ambiance of the Dallas Arboretum.

Complimentary entrance to the Rory Meyers Children’s Adventure Garden is included with paid general garden admission from Aug. 31- Sept. 2 courtesy of the Kelley Family.

Rory Meyers Children’s Adventure Garden: Experience the beauty and science of nature by exploring this award-winning eight-acre garden where science and fun become one. With activities available every hour, there is always something to keep everyone learning.

Thanks to a generous gift from the Kelley Family, guests paying for general garden admission will also receive complimentary entrance to the Rory Meyers Children’s Adventure Garden during Labor Day Family Fun Weekend.
