The City of Forney has recently acquired new office space at 401 Pinson Rd., which will serve as the new City Hall. This location will house City Management, the City Secretary’s Office, Fire Administration, Human Resources, Legal, and Information Technology.
The current City Hall at 101 E Main St. in Downtown Forney will accommodate Community Development (Planning and Permits), Engineering, and Communications. The council chambers at this location will continue to host city council meetings, planning and zoning commission meetings, and other related gatherings.
Additionally, 402 N Bois D Arc will be the new location for Utility Billing (Water Bills), Finance, and Public Works. This change is particularly important for residents who pay their water bills in person.
The relocation is expected to be completed by August 2024. Residents are encouraged to stay informed about the relocation and departmental updates through the
city’s website and social media channels.
