Celebrate the Fourth of July holiday at the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden during Independence Day Family Fun Weekend presented by Primrose Schools in Dallas – Fort Worth. Spend quality time with family and friends at the “most picturesque botanical garden in the Southern US,” according to Audacy/ 1080 KRLD.

Independence Day Family Fun Weekend features several exciting events including a special glove encounter with Window to the Wild, live music, a petting zoo, an exhibit where guests will learn about the history of floral fashion and spend time relaxing in one of 150 colorful hammocks placed throughout the Pecan Grove. 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. Concert, Ashmore (Martin Rutchik Concert Stage and Lawn) Now through August 4: Floral in Fashion Exhibit Explore the history of floral fashion with a curated exhibit from Annette Becker, Director of the Texas Fashion Collection at UNT. The pieces range from depictions of hibiscus flowers “Bette Ann” symbolizing Hawaiian glamorous leisure vacations to a modern “Aloha” ensemble, which highlights Hawaiian inspired Japanese streetwear.

Explore this award-winning eight-acre scientific garden where science and fun become one with its own STEM-related programming. Entrance is free with paid admission, thanks to Kelley Family Days (July 4-7). There will also be a Craft Corner experience during Independence Day Family Fun Weekend.
