On June 4, 2024, the Kaufman County Street Crimes Task Force received information that an individual was possibly in possession and/or selling illegal dangerous drugs out of a residence in Forney, Texas. The Kaufman County Street Crimes Task Force took immediate action to prevent the dangerous drugs from falling into the hands of children and unsuspecting victims within our community. Although the pills were de-scribed to Task Force Officers as Ecstasy, they tested positive for the deadly substance Fentanyl. The Street Crimes Task Force seized more than 100 Fentanyl pills from the Forney suspect, who also told Task Force Officers that he sold “bars” (Xanax) and “Gas” (Marijuana). The suspect was placed into custody and transported to the Kaufman County Jail pending charges. The K a u fma n County Street Crimes Task Force was created and implemented by several local law enforcement agencies within Kaufman County. Since its creation, the Task force has made numerous arrests for all manner of criminal offenses, including murder charges. Multiple firearms have been recovered from these criminals, as well as narcotics removed from our county. It is the mission of the Kaufman County Street Crimes Task Force, and all Law Enforcement agencies in this great county, to provide safety and security to our citizens.
