Kristin Frazier-Bauer, Communications Supervisor and Tomeaka Canty, Animal Control Supervisor of the Forney Police Department graduated from the Civilian Executive Leadership School sponsored by the Institute for Law Enforcement Administration held at The Center for American and International Law in Plano, Texas.

Twenty participants from fourteen agencies in the states of Texas and Arkansas graduated on May 17, 2024. The Civilian Leadership School is a 4-week program that includes a two-week executive session, a one-week supervisor session and a one-week line level session. Participants gained insight and skills in the areas that included Servant Leadership, Supervisory Accountability, Ethical Decision Making, Diversity/Human Relations and Team Building.

“In most law enforcement organizations our profession staff members have not received the same level of leadership and supervisory education as our Sworn team members. This program addresses that short coming and recognizes the talent and dedication of the people who are the backbone of any successful law enforcement agency,” said Gregory Smith, Director of the Institute for Law Enforcement Administration.
