The City of Forney Presents Juneteenth at the Spellman The City of Forney proudly presents Juneteenth at the Spellman, in partnership with Xi Delta Sigma Alumnae Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc., on June 22, 2024, at the Spellman Amphitheater from 4:00 pm until 9:00 pm.
Juneteenth at the Spellman features a vibrant array of live music, thoughtprovoking speakers, captivating performances, many local vendors showcasing their unique offerings, delicious food, and much more. This event promises a day filled with familyfriendly fun for all ages. Juneteenth at the Spellman also offers diverse opportunities for community partnership, vendor participation, or corporate sponsorship. These enable companies and organizations to support a significant community-wide event while maximizing marketing exposure to a targeted audience across Forney.
This event seeks to celebrate and commemorate Juneteenth’s historical significance
and actively contribute to students’ educational advancement through scholarship opportunities. Scholarships serve as a tangible manifestation of our commitment to fostering academic excellence, promoting equity in education, and investing in our community’s future leaders.

This event reflects our dedication to honoring Juneteenth’s significance and supporting educational opportunities for our youth. The event is free and open to the public, however, we ask attendees to register: forneytx.gov/juneteenth Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets to enjoy the live music and festivities.
